The Blurr
How do you pull together a succinct story representing an author’s lifetime love affair with Italy, a journey ‘gone wrong’, and the sweet side to it all?
Creator Steph Wakefield’s idea to capture an Italian family’s lineage of recipes on film came to a halt due to an unforeseen ‘Italian change of plans.’ She was left on the infamous/glamourous Amalfi Coast with her photographer and stylist with what felt at the time like no concept or story to tell.
So she did what she always did on her numerous trips to Italy – and lived her best life full of food, adventure, and bonding with community. Upon her return she turned to Blurr to help collate and narrate a story with a sea of gorgeous photography to pull from.
The goal: to create a book for all the senses.
